Terms of Service

By accessing or using the MCS Pickleball Academy platform at mcspickleballacademy.site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

MCS Pickleball Academy provides:

• Group and private pickleball coaching sessions across Klang Valley
• Kids pickleball programmes
• A member portal for session booking, curriculum access, and progress tracking
• Access to coaching video tutorials and programme resources

Packages: Sessions are sold in packages of 5, 10, or 20 sessions. Each package has a validity period starting from your first session date.

Booking: Sessions must be booked in advance through the member portal. Bookings are subject to coach availability and slot capacity.

Group Classes: Minimum 2 students required per group session. Sessions with fewer than 2 confirmed bookings may be rescheduled or cancelled with advance notice.

Private Sessions: A skill assessment session is required prior to commencing a private coaching programme.

4.1 Individual / 1-to-1 Classes

As the court is booked in advance, some venues do not allow last-minute rescheduling or refunds. In addition, each venue may have its own cancellation and rescheduling policy.

Therefore, students are required to provide at least 48 hours' advance notice if they are unable to attend a scheduled session.

If a student cancels at short notice or fails to attend a confirmed session after the court has been booked, the following attendance policy will apply:

• 1st Unexcused Absence: A friendly reminder will be issued.
• 2nd Unexcused Absence: A warning letter will be issued, and the student will be required to cover the court fee for the next session.
• 3rd Unexcused Absence: A warning letter will be issued, the student will be required to cover the court fee for the next session, and the class credit for the missed session will be deducted.

For unexpected circumstances, such as illness, students are encouraged to inform us as soon as possible. Supporting documents, such as a medical certificate (MC), may be provided where applicable, and we will arrange the next available session accordingly.

4.2 Group Classes

Students are also required to provide at least 24 hours' advance notice if they are unable to attend a scheduled session.

For cancellations made with sufficient notice, no class credit will be deducted. The missed session will be rescheduled to another suitable date.

For last-minute or unexpected absences, students are encouraged to inform the coach as soon as possible. If there are any supporting documents, such as a medical certificate (MC), these may be provided to the coach. We will then arrange another suitable date for the student to attend the session.

Please note:

The academy understands that genuine emergencies may happen. Exceptional circumstances will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the academy's discretion. This policy helps us maintain a fair arrangement for both parties, while covering the costs associated with pre-booked courts and coaching sessions.

Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via FPX online banking, credit/debit card, or manual bank transfer through our Billplz payment gateway.

Non-Refundable: Package payments are non-refundable once confirmed. Unused sessions may not be redeemed for cash.

Transferable: Remaining sessions may be transferred to another student with prior written notice and admin approval.

Package Expiry: Package validity begins from the date of the first attended session. Expired sessions are forfeited.

All students and coaches are expected to:

• Treat all participants, coaches, and staff with respect
• Arrive on time for scheduled sessions
• Bring appropriate equipment (paddle, non-marking shoes)
• Follow court rules and safety guidelines
• Not record or distribute coaching content without written consent

MCS Pickleball Academy reserves the right to terminate membership for conduct that is disrespectful, disruptive, or harmful.

By participating in sessions, you confirm that you are physically fit to engage in sporting activity. MCS Pickleball Academy is not liable for injuries sustained during sessions. We strongly recommend personal health insurance coverage.

Students with medical conditions that may affect participation must inform the coach prior to the first session.

All curriculum content, coaching materials, videos, and resources provided through the MCS Pickleball Academy platform are the intellectual property of MCS Pickleball Academy. You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell any content without written permission.

MCS Pickleball Academy shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of sessions due to technical issues, venue unavailability, or acts of nature.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved under Malaysian jurisdiction.
